Not a style, a methodology

Data Poetics is not a style. It is a methodology — a set of procedures for converting biological signal into aesthetic form. The core premise: if emotional states produce measurable physiological signatures, those signatures can be translated into visual form without losing the emotional content that generated them.

The workflow

Every piece begins with a capture session: EEG, heart rate variability, galvanic skin response. The raw signal is cleaned, segmented, and classified before it ever touches a visual system. Only then does the generative stage begin — translating classified emotional states into parameters that drive color, form, motion, and density.
